Wood is well known for both its workability and its visually appealing aesthetics. The Dining table, as a centerpiece in the space, demands special approach in form and materiality.

It results that some traditional elements could nicely complement our contemporary home design. The geometric patterns go back quite a long way and have been found everywhere around the world. Their constant revival is due to both their practical and aesthetic values.

The site falls very steeply from the rear to the front boundary. It’s heavily vegetated with two visible sandstone ledges and rocks of various sizes scattered around. Our approach lies on the concept of prefabricated house modules with minimum impact on the environment. Sketches: Santiago Van Arcken
